Sound City Days, Košice 2012

Two steel strings work as a spatial sensor, which captures our physical activity in space. It’s an instrument inviting us to interact. Along with any timbre change of strings the sound composition changes and develops.

Let us use our finger or nail, a pencil or pen, wooden stick or even this white plastic beater. Stroke the string, scratch or rub it, do it smoothly or quite hard, but do not destroy the instrument. Do it slowly and quite quickly and enjoy the feeling of an instrument, which turns into a sonic organism around you.
